St. Nicholas Cardonald Parish ChurchSt. Nicholas Cardonald Parish Church was opened and dedicated in November 1937, it is set on top of a hill offering panoramic views of the North West of Glasgow, across the clyde and onwards to the Campsie Fells. The Church is situated opposite Hillington Primary School, with whom it has close ties and also serves the community with its various organisations.

The Church is located approximately 5 miles South West of Glasgow City Centre in Hillington, directions are as follows (assuming you are coming from the south).

Starting at Gretna Green join the A74(M) motorway (signposted North) then continue forward onto the M74 (signposted The North, Glasgow). Leave the M74 at junction 4, then join the M73 motorway (signposted M73 Stirling, Kincardine Bridge, Glasgow) TRAFFIC BLACKSPOT. At the M73 Junction 2 (M8/A8) Branch left, then join the M8 motorway (signposted M8 Glasgow City Centre) TRAFFIC BLACKSPOT. Continue forward with the M8 (signposted Dumbarton, Kilmarnock, Greenock) Junction 17 (A82) go over the Kingston Bridge and finally leave the M8 at junction 25, then at roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A739 (signposted Cardonald, Irvine) Immediately keep in right hand lane continue forward onto the A739. At ensuing traffic signals turn right onto Berryknowes Road - A739 passing Cardonald Train Station. Turn right onto Kingsland Drive. Continue forward onto Thurston Road. Turn right onto Hartlaw Crescent where the church is located.
