I am a lecturer in CAPLE specialising in e-learning. I contribute to the Postgraduate Certificate in Advanced Academic Studies and am responsible for the Internet Communication module which looks at Web 2.0 technologies for teaching, learning and research purposes. I also give workshops on academic writing and communication skills for postgraduate students, such as the forthcoming Succeeding for the Workplace workshops, contribute to the department's provision for graduate teaching assistants and co-ordinate the postgraduate research programme for the 2007-08 session. I am the primary departmental contact for the Faculty of Law, Arts and Social Sciences, and am happy to see staff and students individually to discuss learning and teaching issues.
