RESEARCH:

My research interests focus mainly on intelligent information processing, visual computing and multimedia signal processing, especially on content-based image/video analysis, retrieval and understanding, visual surveillance, archive restoration, human-computer interaction, computer vision, pattern recognition, motion estimation and more recently hyperspectral imaging.

We have projects funded by Innovate UK (TSB), Natural Environment Research Council (NERC), Engineering and Physical Science Research Council (EPSRC), Horizon 2020 from European Union (H2020), and a number of industrial partners including Fraunhofer UK, GSK UK, Quality Meat Scotland (QMS), Innovent Technology , ARGANS, et al.
