Born and raised in Mauritius, I moved to the UK in 1996. I finished my BEng (Hons) in Electronic Communications Engineering and PhD at Lancaster University in 1999 and 2003, respectively. I then worked as a postdoc and lecturer at the Dept. of Communication Systems, Lancaster University until 2007 when I moved to the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering at the University of Strathclyde, where I am now a Glasgow Research Partnership in Engineering (GRPE) lecturer.
