Brief Biography

A graduate of the University of Toronto and Edinburgh University, Lise was formerly a Lecturer in Environmental Social Sciences at Leicester University & Strathclyde University. She has also held positions at Glasgow University (Centre for Development Studies) and the World Bank (Environment & Infrastructure Division).

Research Interests

Applied Environmental Economics and Management.

Current research topics include the impact of environmental regulations on firm location and productivity (A British Academy Funded Study); air pollution health impacts; trade liberalization and corporate takeovers.
