• Beauties and the beast Joe Perman and I both ride bikes now. In this picture he is on the red VFR (which is now Joe's but used to be mine) and I am on the black, the CB 500 (which I have now taken from Joe for my winter driving).


Here is my cuurent bike - a 2007 model Honda CBR 1000 RR Fireblade. This is very fast.

Motorbikes are my favourite means of transport, except on those really wet Glasgow days, and when I'm travelling on motorways. The selection below shows a few pictures of my favourite bike, the Honda VFR. (I prefer it to the Fireblade, although it is not so thrilling). Previously, I had a green VFR 750.

Then I switched to a red VFR 800i. Its great in terms of handling and sure-footedness, but lacks grunt (there should be a VFR 1000). Now I ride a Fireblade, perfectly linear. But must remember that is does not have ABS!
