Carnegie Medal This is the home page of the Carnegie Medal, one of the most prestigious awards for children's books.

Centre for Children's Books based at the University of Illinois; publishes The Bulletin of the Center for Children's Books, one of the US's leading children's book review journals for school and public librarians.

Centre for Research in Young People's Texts and Cultures publishes the Canadian Children's Literature journal.

 Children's Literature Association academic society that organises conferences and publishes the Children's Literature journal (in association with the Modern Language Association Division on Children's Literature) and the Children's Literature Association Quarterly.

 The Children's Literature Web Guide Useful internet resources related to books for children and young adults, including a comprehensive internet guide to children's book awards.

 The Children's Poetry Archive

  CIRCL (Centre for International Research in Childhood: Literature, Culture, Media) A leading specialist research centre based at the University of Reading.

 Cool-Reads Excellent web site run by young (10-15 year old) readers, with lots of book reviews by 10-15 year old readers.

 Floris Books The publisher of the Kelpies series, which reprints Scottish children's books.

Jordanhill Library The Jordanhill section of the University of Strathclyde Library contains the largest collection of contemporary children's books in Scotland, with some 19,000 volumes, together with a substantial collection of secondary criticism and scholarship on children's literature. The library web site includes a Children's Literature Themes Index that allows readers to search for children's books that deal with particular themes or topics. The web site includes an excellent set of links to Children's Literature Internet Sites.

Opie Collection of Children's Literature Online catalogue of a huge collection of children's books held by the Bodleian Library at Oxford University.
