Homicide. The best ever detective series shown on television.
- The Wire.Not as good as Homicide, although many rate it as best ever on TV (along with Sopranos)
- The Killing This is an amazing Danish police drama, shown in the UK with subtitles in 2011.
- Spiral A French crime drama, shown on BBC4 with sub-titles. Running currently (in April 2011) but looks very promising.
